La 71. Mostra del Cinema si terrà dal 27 agosto al 6 settembre; l’attrice Luisa Ranieri sarà la madrina delle serate di apertura (27 agosto) e di chiusura (6 settembre).
• Biennale College – Cinema, terza edizione: il nuovo bando internazionale per lo sviluppo e la produzione di opere audiovisive a micro-budget è aperto dal 6 maggio al 1° luglio.
• La seconda edizione del workshop Final Cut in Venice, finalizzato al completamento dei film provenienti dai Paesi africani (nonché da Giordania, Libano, Palestina e Siria) avrà luogo dal 31 agosto all’1 settembre nell’ambito del Venice Film Market.
• Il Venice European Gap-Financing Co-Production Market avrà luogo il 29 e 30 agosto; la nuova iniziativa nell’ambito del Venice Film Market intende sostenere i produttori europei, assicurando il completo finanziamento dei loro progetti, attraverso incontri con qualificati professionisti internazionali.

The 71st Venice Film Festival will run 27th August to 6th September; the actress Luisa Ranieri is to host the opening (27 Aug.) and closing (6 Sept.) events.
• Biennale College – Cinema, third edition: the new international call for the development and production of micro-budget audiovisual works is open from 6th May to 1st July.
• The second edition of the workshop Final Cut in Venice, aimed at providing support to complete films coming from African countries, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria will run 31st August to 1st September as part of the Venice Film Market.
• The Venice European Gap-Financing Co-Production Market will run on 29th and 30th August; the new initiative of the Venice Film Market is intended to support European producers to secure the final financing of their projects through meetings with international professionals.
