Mohamed Ben Youssef

26 Febbraio 1961 – Muore il Re Mohammed V. Simbolo emblematico della Resistenza marocchina e del rinnovamento dell’identità nazionale. Mohamed Ben Youssef muore durante un intervento chirurgico. I marocchini piangono uno dei sovrani più amati in assoluto nella storia del Marocco. Condusse all’Indipendenza il suo paese e lo regnò  per soli quattro anni. È suo figlio, il principe eriditario Moulay Hassan, che prese il comando del paese in giovanissima età.
